Dit beeld is niet in een dag ontstaan, ook niet in een paar dagen…Wel ruim 30 dagen, en meer dan een half jaar, heeft zij nodig gehad om tot verschijning te komen. Van te voren wist ik niet wat ik ging maken, ik liet mij leiden waar de steen mij liet zien, liet voelen. Zo vreugdevol en spannend was het, toen het meisje zichtbaar werd. <\/p>\n
Het polijsten tot in de kleinste hoekjes en randjes, heeft zeker zeven dagen geduurd en wat een beproeving toen ik tot 3 keer toe haar neusje wegpolijstte, doordat mijn schuurpapier per ongeluk het gezichtje meenam. Was het soms te spannend om zich te laten zien? Durf jij je ware gezicht te tonen, durf jij er te Zijn?<\/p>\n
